Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use the XSaved iOS app, browser extension, website, optional cloud account and sync, or related paid features (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

XSaved is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. Your use of X remains subject to X's own terms and policies.

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms and meet the minimum age required by X and the laws where you live. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

You can explore parts of the iOS app without an XSaved cloud account. Features that import your library require access to an X account, and cross-device sync requires an optional XSaved cloud account. You are responsible for protecting your devices, sign-in sessions, and account credentials and for telling us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

As between you and XSaved, you keep your rights in the notes, tags, folders, and other content you add. XSaved does not claim ownership of your bookmark library or make your private library public.

You give XSaved a limited, non-exclusive permission to access, copy, format, index, and process your library only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the features you choose. This permission ends when the relevant content or cloud account is deleted, except for temporary backup copies and records XSaved must retain by law.

You must use XSaved only with accounts and content you are authorized to access. You are responsible for complying with X's terms, applicable law, and third-party rights. Saving or organizing a link through XSaved does not give you ownership of the linked post, image, video, article, or other third-party material.

XSaved keeps a local copy of your library. The iOS app uses Apple frameworks on your device for its local search and supported intelligence features. Optional cloud sync and cloud AI are separate features and remain off until you choose to enable them.

Before the iOS app sends library data to third-party cloud AI processors, it identifies the current processors—including Cloudflare Workers AI and Anthropic in the present configuration—the purpose of each, and the data categories each receives, then asks for your explicit permission. Declining does not prevent you from using the local library. If the processor set changes, XSaved requires an updated permission before cloud processing resumes.

You can withdraw cloud AI permission by turning Sync across devices off in Settings. New cloud transfers stop immediately, but information already synchronized remains in your cloud account until you delete it. See the Privacy Policy for the current data and provider details.

The iOS app excludes posts X labels as potentially sensitive from its visible library, search results, and local search or organization indexes. This safety filter depends on labels supplied by X and cannot guarantee that all objectionable, inaccurate, or unlawful material will be identified.

XSaved does not endorse third-party content. If content is unlawful or infringes someone's rights, address the original material with the service that hosts it and contact XSaved if an account-owned copy also needs attention.

Some features require XSaved Pro. Available plans, billing periods, prices, taxes, trials, and included features are shown before purchase and may vary by country, platform, or eligibility. Do not complete a purchase unless those details are acceptable to you.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are processed by Apple and renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account at least as required by Apple before renewal. Apple's purchase, cancellation, refund, and billing terms apply. RevenueCat helps XSaved validate purchases, restore access, and determine whether Pro is active.

Where XSaved offers a web or extension subscription, Stripe processes the payment and the checkout terms shown at purchase apply. Cancelling a subscription normally stops its next renewal; paid access continues through the current billing period unless the store, applicable law, or a stated refund policy requires otherwise.

Deleting an XSaved cloud account does not cancel a separately managed Apple or Stripe subscription. Cancel the subscription with the provider that billed you. Deleting an account may prevent cross-platform entitlement linking until a new account is connected.

If you created an XSaved cloud account, you can permanently delete it in the iOS app under Settings. Deletion removes the account and its account-owned data from XSaved's active systems and clears the app's local cloud credential and cached cloud-account data, subject to limited legal and backup retention described in the Privacy Policy.

Your X connection is separate. Deleting the XSaved cloud account does not delete anything from X or disconnect the X website session on your device. Use Disconnect on the Account screen to remove that local X connection. Uninstalling an app or extension does not necessarily cancel a subscription or delete a cloud account.

You may not use the Service to:

• break the law, violate X's terms, or infringe another person's rights;
• access an account, library, system, or data without authorization;
• upload malware or interfere with the Service's security or operation;
• circumvent usage, subscription, access, or technical limits;
• resell or commercially exploit the Service without written permission; or
• reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction.

XSaved may investigate misuse and restrict or suspend cloud access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, third parties, or legal compliance.

XSaved depends on services operated by others, including X, Apple, RevenueCat, Stripe, Cloudflare, Anthropic, and cloud hosting providers. Their own terms and policies apply to your interactions with them. XSaved does not control their content, availability, policy changes, account decisions, or service interruptions.

A third-party change may limit or disable an XSaved feature. XSaved may change or discontinue an affected feature when reasonably necessary, but will not retroactively take away a paid entitlement without providing any remedy required by the store's rules or applicable consumer law.

Pre-release builds may be incomplete, change without notice, expire, or contain defects. Back up information you cannot afford to lose and do not rely on a beta for critical storage. TestFlight use is also subject to Apple's applicable terms.

XSaved's software, branding, interface, and original materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no XSaved rights are transferred to you.

The iOS app is licensed, not sold. Unless XSaved provides a custom App Store license, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the App Store app license in addition to these Service terms.

XSaved aims to provide a reliable Service, but imports, search, generated topics, summaries, and other automated results may be incomplete or inaccurate. Keep independent copies of information that matters to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of every bookmark. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XSaved is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, arising from the Service or third-party services. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including rights and remedies that applicable consumer law makes mandatory.

You may stop using XSaved at any time. XSaved may suspend or terminate cloud access for a material violation of these Terms, a security risk, legal compliance, non-payment, or discontinuation of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.

XSaved may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. If a change is material, XSaved will provide notice appropriate to the change. The date on this page identifies the latest version. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
